My office is different from the others…
Don’t expect an executive desk and chair… or psychological power dynamics.
I have a single sofa chair – and loveseat… just in case you need to stretch your legs. The atmosphere is very much like your living room.
There is a small waiting room, but I’ll be the one you’ll see when you get here. And if you have to wait, you’ll enjoy it. You’re welcome to relax in any of the complimentary massage chairs!
When we’re in session together…
I’ll listen. I want to know all about you and your therapy goals. We’ll take those goals and make a plan that makes sense for YOU!
Imagine coming to the office with pent-up anxiety and depression that’s been lingering for days, weeks, months, or even years. Finally, you have a safe place to talk about it.
Imagine feeling encouraged and hopeful… finally! After making sure you feel safe and secure, we’ll peel away the layers of anxiety, depression, and trauma with each session. If you’re really lucky, you might get everything you need in one session… but most need multiple sessions to work through the layers.
Therapy will give you autonomy and freedom…
And that’s when you’ll notice things changing in your life.
You’ll be sleeping better…
You’ll feel more connection with friends and family…
You’ll take more (healthy) risks…
And the best thing about it is realizing you’re doing it all yourself!
Sounds good, doesn’t it?

About Me
Missing out on a dream put me on this path…
Believe it or not, I was a Division 1 football player. But after graduating, I didn’t go on to the NFL – my lifelong dream.
As you can probably imagine, I was heartbroken. Thinking of myself as a failure, I spiraled into anxiety and depression.
It was a hard time in life, but somewhere in the darkness, I found the strength to find another path.
My schooling and training…
I started a Master of Public Health (MPH) program to get into epidemiology. I liked the idea of delving into data to learn about diseases. But, truth be told… I didn’t like it in practice.
At about that time, an academic advisor told me I’d be a good social worker or therapist. I wanted to know more about negative thinking, so I pursued a Master of Social Work (MSW) at Hunter College.
I realized I needed more training as I got into the effects of trauma and performance anxiety. So, I became a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and learned Brainspotting, a technique that helps people with anxiety heal their brains.
Helping people who struggle with the kind of anxiety, depression, and trauma I faced is now my life’s passion!
When I’m not doing therapy…
A lot of people already know that I am a huge sports fan! I love football and basketball and enjoy most sports.
What most people do not know about me is that I am a huge anime fan! I love reading manga and enjoy learning Japanese culture!
